We’ll cover some scenarios we’ve encountered to help you avoid some pitfalls.
There are a few key steps and considerations before simply converting your data. Understand the data and its use in the legacy system as well as Sx.e. Understanding how it WAS used and how it is GOING to be used will help you correctly map the data between the source and target systems. What about data clean-up? Have you thought about how you will handle duplicate customers, products or vendors? How about consistency? Is the data you’re converting meet your internal standards, ie naming convention, format? Don’t forget, “Garbage In, Garbage Out”. We’ll go over some of these key questions and considerations.
I’m sure your head is spinning from all this – and we definitely understand! We’ve helped in countless conversions for companies with complicated systems and we can help with yours too. We hope you will join us for the session to learn more about this important aspect of your SX.enterprise product. Even more, we hope that you will remember that the NSA team is always standing by, ready to help in whatever way we can to make your life easier and your company more successful than ever!
